Build your own dreams, or someone else will hire you to build theirs.

There’s a unique fire that burns in the heart of every successful entrepreneur—the entrepreneurial spirit. It’s a blend of unrelenting drive, deep determination, and a passion that refuses to fade. Without it, starting a business can feel like Sisyphus pushing a boulder uphill—an endless, fruitless struggle.
It was this spirit that led me to establish two companies of my own in London: Phi Tuition in 2014 and Sophis Educational Systems Ltd in 2018. Both began with modest personal investments and have grown into thriving, organically developed ventures—testaments to hard work, resilience, and strategic execution.
Much of this success was shaped by my earlier career as a management and technology consultant. That experience provided a front-row seat to what makes businesses function efficiently and sustainably. It also equipped me with essential skills in planning, operations, and innovation—skills that would prove invaluable in my own entrepreneurial journey.
Of course, no entrepreneur succeeds alone. I’ve been fortunate to work alongside exceptional individuals whose advice, support, and expertise have been instrumental—whether in product development, finance, or strategic planning.
To young and aspiring entrepreneurs, I offer this advice: cultivate both leadership and business acumen. No idea—no matter how innovative—can thrive on merit alone. And most importantly, lead with vision. Think long-term. Consider the broader impact of your decisions. And approach challenges not with limitations, but with a mindset open to possibility, grounded in purpose.
